Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Erie County Sheriff's Mounted Reserve Unit's Mounted for Meals program returns to the Broadway Market today from 12p.m.-3p.m. Deputies will be outside the market, along with their horses, collecting food and funds for the Response to Love Center. The semi-annual event has been going for more than 20 years.
Manufacturer Nut & Bolt Fastening Solutions is eyeing a move from Buffalo to Lackawanna. According to Buffalo Business First, Nut & Bolt purchased a 40,000 sq. ft. space at 61 N. Gates Avenue for $2 million. Nut & Bolt has 10 employees in Buffalo but plan on adding more.
Catholic Charities of Buffalo has been designated as an Accredited Charity by the Better Business Bureau. It's the eighth year in a row Catholic Charities has received the distinction.
