The Buffalo chapter of the NAACP will anchor the Nash Lofts project at 163 Broadway. Business First noting that 18 apartments will also be featured. Those apartments should be ready for tenants before the end of the month.
The Rochester-based health insurer that includes Univera Healthcare, announced recipients of its 2021 Health Equity Awards. The awards represent $388,000 in financial support provided to community programs that address racial and ethnic health disparities across upstate New York. $80,000 of that was distributed among five organizations in Western New York: the Family Justice Center, Grassroots Gardens, The Chautauqua Center, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo, and The National Witness Project.
