BankOnBuffalo has received the necessary regulatory approvals to move ahead with plans to construct its 13th community office in Western New York. This new branch will be at 4781 Transit Road, Depew, near French Road in Lancaster. The branch is expected to open later this year.
Unifrax of Tonawanda will be leaving and changing its name. According to Business First, this spring the company will move its corporate headquarters to Dallas and become known as Alkegen. Months ago, Unifrax was bought by Lydall Inc.,of Connecticut.
Northwest Bancshares, Inc. announced net income of twenty-four cents per diluted share for the period ending December 31st. That represents a decrease of 14.3% compared to the same period a year ago. Northwest also declaring a quarterly dividend of twenty cents per share, payable February 14th to shareholders of record as of February 3rd.
