The brand name and business of Speier Displays & Party Rentals Inc. has been sold to CJ Sound Inc. Business First reports the terms of the deal were not publicly announced, while also noting Charles Speier was prompted to sell when approached with an offer to buy his building at 175 Stanislaus Street. Amherst businessman and SUNY Buffalo State adjunct professor Faizan Haq bought the building for $450,000. In the meantime, CJ Sound is moving the Speier Displays equipment to its headquarters on Union Road in West Seneca.
