New Era Cap has received $700 million in funding from Washington, D.C., private equity firm ACON Investments, according to Business First. Separately, Major League Baseball, the NFL and NBA will become minority owners of the business. Specific terms of the deal were not made public.
Frontier Airlines announcing major route changes at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Business First noting Frontier will halt its direct flights from Buffalo to Cancun, Mexico and Fort Meyers, Florida as of this October. Frontier will be adding flights to Atlanta, Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale.
