Through his CHK Land Holdings II LLC affiliate, New Era Cap Co. CEO Chris Koch has purchased five vacant buildings that the cap company had owned in Derby. Business First reports Koch paid $2.5 million for the properties on Erie Road.
Business First also reporting that the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency is working on a package to move Trek from Lockport to a 20 acre site in the Town of Cambria. The proposed $25.76 million project would set Trek up on farmland along Junction Road.
AAA of Western & Central New York holds a career fair this Thursday, July 14th. The event will run from 4-7pm at 100 International Drive in Amherst. The AAA is hiring roadside technicians, dispatchers, travel advisors, insurance agents, and driving instructors. They also have openings for back-office and IT professionals.
