Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A new restaurant is opening up across the street from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Iron Cedar Brewing and Meadery is moving into space at the Comfort Inn & Suites Buffalo at 4345 Genesee Street in Cheektowaga with a targeted open in June. The Landing Bar & Grill had previously operated out of the space.
After more than 70 years in business, Santoro Signs has been sold to Ulrich Sign Co. in Lockport, per Buffalo Business First. Santoro Signs' owner Rocco is 88-years-old and started the business with his brother in 1953. Ulrich Sign is based at 177 Oakhurst Street in Lockport and has been operating for 85 years.
You might start seeing a new gadget at your table when you go out to eat beginning in June as 21 local restaurants will roll out Digital Table Advertising, a new service that helps restaurants bring in more ad revenue and creatively show off their own events and specials. The ads will be on a screen that doubles as a traditional napkin or condiment holder. The Anchor Bar at 4300 Maple Road in Amherst will be one of the restaurants to use the new tool.
