Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - There's progress at Station 12 in Amherst as Business First is reporting twelve new stores are coming to the nearly-vacant plaza beginning in 2026. Among the retailers coming to the former Northtown Plaza are Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and Anthropologie.

Niagara County is partnering with several local coffee shops, schools and hospital to promote mental health using coffee sleeves. Nearly 13,000 sleeves emblazoned with the message "You Matter!" will be distributed at Alternative Grounds in Middleport, Craft Coffee House in Pendleton, three different Crosby's locations, Niagara Wheatfield School, Lockport Memorial Hospital, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and several more locations throughout the county.

Enrollment at SUNY Niagara is up 11% compared to last fall, with more than 3,500 students in class this week. The school's director of admissions Stephanie Florczak says the increase has exceeded expectations.

Margery Stanton has been named President and CEO of BestSelf Behavioral Health. She's taking over the role from Elizabeth Woike, who will now just serve as CEO.

Tickets are on sale today for Wicked at Shea's Performing Arts Center. The show's run includes 24 performances between November 12th and the 30th.
