Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - It's opening day for New York Beer Project's massive 24,500 sq. ft. facility in Orchard Park. Located at 245 Windward Drive in Orchard Park, the new site includes four event spaces. There's also plenty of food options, of course. Doors open at 11 Friday morning.
A new Barnes & Noble is opening at the Walden Galleria next month, according to the bookseller's website. Barnes & Noble is taking over the space next to the Apple Store which previously was home to Premier Gourmet.
Forest Lawn Cemetery Group has purchased Evergreen Lawn Cemetery in the Town of Newstead. Evergreen Lawn spans 7.5 acres.
WNY Raptor, a non-profit that cares for injured and orphaned wildlife, is holding a fundraiser Friday night from 6:30 to 9:30 at The Cove on Transit Road in Depew. Tickets are $50 and include drinks, food and raffles.
