
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - New York Beer Project has been ordered by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to pay a $225,000 settlement to two former bartenders who claim they weren't allowed to return to work after notifying the restaurant about medical conditions. New York Beer Project is also required to create an anti-discrimination policy and complaint procedures.
NYSEG is hosting a smart meter open house at Lockport's Town Hall Wednesday afternoon from 4:30-6:30. Customers will be able to ask NYSEG employees about smart meter installations and what benefits they provide.
