Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center held a plaque dedication ceremony to restaurateur and Western New York philanthropist Russell Salvatore today. The plaque honors Salvatore's donation of 270 new televisions across the hospital's campus.
The Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce has announced this year's Taste of East Aurora, taking place Saturday, September 9th. Local restaurants Fat Bob's, Sweet Melody's, Blue Eyed Baker and more will participate in the festival.
The post office at 170 Manhattan Avenue in Buffalo has been renamed the Indiana Hunt-Martin Post Office Building in recognition of a World War 2 veteran who served in Europe. Hunt-Martin was a member of the first African American Women's Army Corps.
