The NFTA has recently fired Greenway USA as their contractor, which was handling the remodeling of the Church Street metro station, stalling the project that was expected to be completed by the end of 2025 even more. Public affairs director for the NFTA Helen Tederous noted that she could not discuss the reason for the termination but the NFTA are currently working with project stakeholders on a new timeline including the next steps to take.
Hilbert College has announced that it will be expanding what they offer for programs at the school adding the Bachelor of Arts in Artificial Intelligence Studies and the Bachelor of Arts in Sports Communication. The two new programs are said to prepare new students for new career opportunities to two evolving industries.
S&R Holdings, the owners of the former Deep South Taco building on Hertel Ave., has sued Jacob Stiller of Forward Development of accusing him of stalling on the sale of the property. The building's current owner said that Stiller has violated an implied legal covenant of good faith and fair dealing by failing to finalize the deal nearly two years after signing an agreement to buy the property.
