Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The NFTA is hosting an Open House for job seekers today from 11a.m.-2p.m. at their Greyhound Bus Station at 181 Ellicott Street in Buffalo. Attendees will receive in-person interviews for positions including Operators, Mechanics and Custodians.
A 103-year-old former bank at 2221 Seneca Street in South Buffalo is being turned into a music venue called The Caz, per Buffalo Business First. Detailed moldings and stained glass windows were uncovered during the renovation process which will remain intact when the venue opens. Renovations are expected to be completed by fall.
Aquarium of Niagara will offer $7.16 off full-priced admission this Saturday through Monday from 9a.m. to 5p.m. in celebration of the 716. The MLK weekend promotion is the first of three promotions lined up for the next month, including the Aquarium's annual Penguin Days celebration and another 716 Day.
