Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Niagara Falls-based 9 Lives Digital Group has purchased a vacant property, which previously housed operations for Globe Metallurgy. 9 Lives Digital plans to turn the site into an AI data center and a logistics and warehousing hub. The redevelopment will be completed with private funds.

The James E. Strates Shows Fair Train arrives at the Erie Railroad Depot in the Village of Hamburg Thursday morning between 11:30 and noon, just days before the start of the Erie County Fair. This is Strates Shows' 100th consecutive year at the Erie County Fair.

The Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce has named James Burns as its new President & CEO. Burns most recently was Vice President of the Board for Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity. Burns also has a background in financial technology.

1st Thursday, a networking group for Buffalo professionals, will hold an event Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 at Soho on W. Chippewa in Buffalo. No registration is required.
