Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The City of Niagara Falls and United Steelworkers District 4 are hosting a job fair this Wednesday, September 30th from 10am-2pm at 110 24th Street in Niagara Falls. USW staff will be there giving information on open positions and the application process. Current open union positions in the city include building safety inspector, chief electrical inspector, street & traffic foremen and more.
The Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Small Business Expo Thursday, November 5th from 8am-3pm at the Kenan Civic Arena in Lockport. Organizers are planning on this year's event being the biggest yet with 300 attendees and 50 exhibitors.
Gas prices stayed put across the board over the last week at $4.42/gallon in Buffalo, $4.48 in New York State and $4.47 nationwide, according to the latest data from AAA.
