Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - NOCO has purchased Williamsville-based VARO, a commercial energy brokerage and advisory firm with customers in New York, Illinois, Michigan and across the northeast. VARO manages energy costs for commercial and industrial customers. It will continue operating as a standalone energy advisory firm under the NOCO umbrella.
Hamburg High School's Business Department is cutting the ribbon on its new Future-Ready Business Hallway Wednesday morning. The hallway is decked out with a stock ticker, digital displays and photos of Academy of Finance students from throughout the years. The district says the hallway promotes financial literacy, career exploration and real-world learning.
Orleans County is hosting a job fair Friday, November 6 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Orleans County Administration Building. Department heads will give on-the-spot interviews for jobs that come with health benefits and yearly pay increases.
