SweetWorks Confections LLC, maker of chocolates like Niagara Chocolates, is being shut down by parent company Migros Industrie. Business First reports operations will wind down immediately, with the business office and factory in Cheektowaga closing at the end of September.
The Village Co-op Market of Williamsville Board has signed a long-term lease with Benderson Development to set up in the former Buffalo Athletic Club for Women building at 480 Evans Street. The Co-op hopes to open in 2024.
