Expansion plans continue for The New York Beer Project. After a successful launch of NYBP Boathouse at its Transit Road in south Lockport location in April, an Orchard Park site is on tap next. Business First reports the new brewery will be at Sterling Park Windward Road near Route 219. In addition, a location in Winter Park, Florida is being completed.
Also from Business First, Unifrax - based in Tonawanda - has acquired Lydall in a $1.3 billion deal.
Niagara Falls-based Niacet has been acquired for about $1 billion, becoming part of Kerry Group.
Following a merger between The Finish Line, Inc.and JD Sports Fashion Plc there will be a change at the Walden Galleria. The Finish Line store on the upper level of the mall across from Dick's Sporting Goods will rebrand as JD Sports and plans to reopen on July 3rd.
