Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - New York State's Department of Health is dishing out $19.5 million to 21 health education programs across the state over the next five years. Each program will receive up to $1 million per year. Erie Niagara Area Health Education Center and Niagara University are among the local groups receiving those funds.
Soiree Lounge & Grill is moving into the restaurant space at The Lafayette, which was previously occupied by Lafayette Brewing Co.. Business First reports the restaurant's menu will include pizza & wings, seafood and dinners. Owner Brenda Hardy also hopes to provide complimentary breakfast for guests of the hotel.
Radius Federal Credit Union has merged with Lake Shore Federal Credit Union. The agreement takes effect October 2nd. Lake Shore's Erie Road location in Angola will remain open. Lake Shore members will also have access to Radius's Delaware Avenue branch.
