Allegra Jaros is leaving as president of John R. Oishei Children's Hospital at the end of the year. Jaros has been named president of Wolfson Children's Hospital and Children's Health Network in Jacksonville, Florida. Jaros was appointed president of Oishei Children's Hospital in May 2014.
Amazon is planning to hire more than 600 employees in the Buffalo and Western New York region for full-time, seasonal, and part-time positions at its sites in Lancaster and Tonawanda. Seasonal employees will have the opportunity to transition to full-time positions after the holidays. Business First reports Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has purchased the home of former teammate Jerry Hughes for $1.3 million. The home is on Stewart Court in East Aurora.
