Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Old City Pizza is holding a grand opening ceremony in downtown Buffalo this Friday at 5. The restaurant is located in the cellar of Pearl Street Grill & Brewery and serves 10 kinds of Neapolitan-style pizzas, and other Italian fare like pasta and meatballs. It's the latest venture for CEO Bill Casale, who's also in charge of Pearl Street and Buffalo Riverworks.

The Delavan-Grider farmers market opens for a fifth-straight year in Buffalo Thursday, operating from 4pm-6:30pm at the Delavan-Grider Community Center every Thursday through fall. KeyBank, Buffalo GoGreen and Providence Farm Collective are working together to sponsor the market, which will run rain or shine.

Tops continues to remodel its local stores, wrapping up a $2 million overhaul of its location at 150 Niagara Street in Tonawanda. A grand re-opening and ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place next Tuesday morning at 9.
