Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - OLV Charities have been awarded three grants totaling $425,000 for use in development of OLV Human Services' Evaluation and Treatment Center. The Children's Guild Foundation, The Peter & Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation and The Golisano Foundation awarded the funds. The Center will be located at 790 Ridge Road in Lackawanna.
UB has been recognized in several areas of the US News & World Report's newest college rankings. The University was ranked the 36th best public school in the nation. UB was also named the 31st best nursing school in the country.
Habitat for Humanity Buffalo has purchased a retail building at 1030 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Tonawanda for over $2 million, per Buffalo Business First. The organization will move its ReStore North location from Buffalo to the new 23,000 sq. ft. space.
