Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Downtown's Osteria 166 is switching to a new concept and moving to a new location. The restaurant will serve its last dinner at 166 Franklin Street in late March. In a Facebook post the restaurant's owners said the new venture will be located inside Ulrich's 1868 Tavern on Ellicott Street and will focus on lunch and grab-and-go meals. The plan is to launch in late spring or early summer.
A new bistro, cocktail bar and events venue is opening at downtown Buffalo's Brisbane Building. Beebe's on the Square, which used to be known as Beebe's at the Gallery, will open March 4th. Peter Hunt of HUNT Real Estate is spearheading the project, which he says is part of an effort to bring people back downtown.
A factory at 2491 Wehrle Drive in Amherst has sold to One Remington LLC for $9.1 million. The nearly 127,000 square-foot facility sits on 8 acres of land.
Jewish Family Services has named Andrea Walh as the organization's vice president of fundraising and engagement. Walh will oversee grants, marketing, PR, and donor, corporate and community engagement.
