Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - People Inc. has plans to purchase and redevelop the vacant inpatient bed tower at the former DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda. The space would be turned into a mixed-use facility with senior housing, an employee training center and day habilitation program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Costs are still being worked on and the project would still need approval from North Tonawanda's Planning Commission.

Erie County Fair CEO Jessica Underberg has been inducted into the International Association of Fairs and Expositions Hall of Fame. Underberg's ties to the Fair date back to the 1980s when she was a youth exhibitor. She eventually became an employee in 1996, working her way up to the role of CEO and Fair Manager in 2017.

Out-going Amherst Supervisor Brian Kulpa has a new job lined up. He's joining lobbying and business development firm Masiello Martucci Hughes beginning January 1st as a partner. Kulpa will also join PR firm Keenan Communications Group as a partner.

The race to 100 is on for $1 million dollar home sales in Erie County this year. A home at 55 Contessa Court in Amherst is the 94th such sale of the year, going for $1.75 million.
