Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Perry's Ice Cream has launched three new scoop shop flavors as the turn to summer approaches. The new flavors are Blueberry Cornbread with blueberry swirls and cornbread pieces, Lavender Dream which blends vanilla ice cream with blackberry swirls, and The NutHouse, a collaboration with Ohio State University that features sea salt caramel ice cream, brownie batter swirls and chunks of peanut butter cookie dough.
Employees from National Fuel will participate in the utility's annual Days of Doing Tuesday through Thursday, cleaning and beautifying some well-known spots around Buffalo. Workers will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, planting trees at Lang Weber Park and helping get ready for summer at Dunkirk Pier. Volunteers will help with a total of 58 projects across 40 different locations.
Elma's Servotronics has been purchased for $110 million by a Cleveland-based company. The buyer, TransDigm, bought Calspan two years ago. Servotronics is Buffalo's 11th largest locally headquartered company. Buffalo Business First says Servotronics brought in around $45 million in revenue last year.
