Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Perry's Ice Cream is adding three new flavors to its lineup just in time for spring. Ice Cream Cake is icing flavored with creme filled cookies and rainbow sprinkles, while Super Villain is a swirl of grape, orange and green apple. Those flavors come in cartons. Finally there's Candy Bash Bars, which have a fruity candy flavor with blue raspberry swirls. The new flavors are available now.
Three attorneys and longtime patrons of Santasiero's on Niagara Street on Buffalo's West Side are buying the restaurant with plans to reopen this spring. The restaurant's menu will remain intact with the same recipes being passed down. One of the new owners, Mark Longo, tells Business First the group isn't buying the business to make money, saying "It's a sentimental buy for me."
The WNY Independent Living Family of Agencies, a group that advocates for civil rights and quality of life for the disabled, has hired Shane Keyes as Director of Independent Living Services. The department provides peer counseling, independent living skills, transition support, advocacy and information & referral services for clients.
