Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is being sued by Lamparelli Construction for allegedly failing to pay for construction services, per Buffalo Business First. Most of the money is owed for work on a new location at 3030 Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. In a statement to Business First, Rachel's blamed high interest rates and inflation and said they are working hard to pay their debts.

Seneca One will host a discussion panel with local business leaders and innovators next Thursday evening, August 29th from 5-8. It's the first event in a new series called "Group Chat." Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has named Dr. Lorraine Kochanowski-Sutter as the hospital's Vice President of Quality & Corporate Compliance. Kochanowski-Sutter will be in charge of overseeing and enhancing the quality of care for patients at the hospital.
