Radius Federal Credit Union has merged with St. John's Buffalo Federal Credit Union; the move effective as of October 21st. This includes the new John's location opening soon at 2111 Seneca Street in South Buffalo. Terms of the deal were not publicly announced.
Five Elderwood communities were part of the U.S. News & World Report "Best Nursing Homes" list for excellence in Long Term Care and Short-Term Rehabilitation. Making the list were facilities in Amherst, Cheektowaga, Grand Island, Wheatfield and Elderwood of Scallop Shell at Wakefield.
Spectrum Health and Human Services has opened a new facility, the HELP Center@Springville. It's located next to its Springville Counseling Center at 27 Franklin Street.
