Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Rainbow Air has again been named a finalist in USA Today's "10Best" poll for the nation's Best Helicopter Tour. It's the second year in a row Rainbow Air has been named a finalist for the award. Last year they placed in the top five. You can vote for Rainbow Air here.
The Salvation Army has received $50,000 from The Baird Foundation for its Hope on Main project. Hope on Main is a multi-phase construction project that includes a new emergency family shelter, 160 units of affordable housing and a new community center for Buffalo's East Side.
Food Truck Thursdays are back at Niagara Square starting Thursday morning at 11 until 2:30 outside City Hall. Opening day vendors include Fat Bob's, The Cheesy Chick, TCB Food Truck, Tomaso's and several more. Food Truck Thursdays will run through October 15th.
