Developer Doug Jemal has made his 10th purchase in the downtown Buffalo area. Business First reports Jemal has paid an undisclosed sum for the building at 529 Main Street from James Sandoro. That site is directly across from the Hyatt Regency Buffalo hotel, which Jemal closed on earlier in the fall.
Rich Products making some leadership changes. As of the first of the year, Kevin Spratt takes over from the retiring Ray Burke as chief operations officer and David Faturos steps is as chief financial officer for the retiring Jim Deushcle. Also, Dave Cowperthwait takes over as chief supply chain officer. Lauren Lopez will become senior vice president of the foodservice division.
Tops Friendly Markets will once again offer military personnel and their immediate families an 11 percent discount off of their grocery bill this Veterans Day. Customers will need to show proof of service that they, or an immediate family member are a U.S. Veteran, active duty, reserve or retired military personnel in order to automatically receive that 11 percent discount on their total purchase.
