Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Roswell Park has received the Magnet Recognition award from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Only 10% of hospitals in the country have received the award. Winners are determined based on patient outcomes after being treated by nurses and patient satisfaction.
FeedMore WNY is reporting an increase locally in food insecurity. The nonprofit says the number of people it's distributed food to has gone up 46% since 2021. FeedMore served almost 166,000 people in 2024, more than 53,000 of them were children.
