Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Forbes has named Roswell Park one of the Best Midsize Employers in the country, with the hospital placing 48th on a list of 498 companies. That ranking also puts Roswell in the top 5 of mid-size employers in New York state. Roswell was also named one of the 150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker's Hospital Review.
Daemen University will have a couple prominent names serving as their commencement speakers. Mary Wilson, trustee of the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation and Congressman Tim Kennedy will be speaking to the school's graduating class. The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will perform throughout the ceremony on Saturday, May 17th at Kleinhan's.
Boston Market is back in business, and the chain's revival is starting in Buffalo. Boston Market's Amherst location at 4185 Maple Road quietly reopened this past Monday after closing in 2022. According to Buffalo Business First, 10 Boston Markets are planned for Western New York.
