Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Roswell Park's Intensive Care Unit has received a second Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. It's the second year in a row Roswell's ICU has been recognized with the award, which focuses on high-quality care for patients.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center's Tenth Street campus is getting $53 million in additions and renovations. The first phase of construction includes a new wound and hyperbaric center, as well as new surgical office suites, procedure rooms and more. Additional improvements will be made throughout the next two years.
Shea's is launching a centennial celebration this week, and 42 North Brewing is joining in the celebration by launching 'Wonder Beer', paying homage to Michael's Shea's original movie house, 'The Wonder Theatre'. The beverage will be available for the first time at this Friday's Centennial Celebration at Shea's.
