Sabres announce 26-27 theme night, giveaway schedule

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Sabres have revealed their promotional and giveaway schedule ahead of the 26-27 season. Fans will receive a replica Atlantic Division Champions mini banner the night of the home opener. Other highlights include a beer stein in celebration of Oktoberfest, Sabres salt and pepper shakers on Thanksgiving Eve and a Rasmus Dahlin bobblehead on March 2nd. The full giveaway and theme night schedule is below:

  • Oct. 3: 2025-26 Atlantic Division Champions banner
  • Oct. 8: Oktoberfest - Sabres beer stein with special ticket package
  • Nov. 6: Hockey Fights Cancer Night - Hockey Fights Cancer Scarf
  • Nov. 11: Military Appreciation Night
  • Nov. 25: Thanksgiving Eve - Sabres Salt and Pepper Shakers
  • Nov. 27: Disco Night
  • Dec. 10: Native American Heritage Night
  • Dec. 20: Home For the Holidays - Mystery Player Pin
  • Jan. 12: Mental Health Awareness Night
  • Jan. 14: Hall of Fame Night (Jason Pominville & Thomas Vanek) - Commemorative Pennant
  • Feb. 3: Girls and Women in Sports Night

Buffalo Biodiesel has added two new executives. Frank Balon will serve as president and chief legal officer, while Ryan Haggerty will be the company's chief state litigator and general counsel. Buffalo Biodiesel collects used cooking oil from more than 30,000 restaurants across the Northeast and turns it into renewable energy.


D'Youville University is now offering a Masters Degree for its Sport and Performance Psychology program. The 36-credit program can be finished in just 15 months. The first class begins this fall.
