Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Save A Lot at 2160 Gensee Street in Buffalo has closed for good. Channel 7 reports a sign was posted at the store thanking customers and shelves were already cleared out. An earlier sign said the store had closed due to "inventory." Several residents expressed concern over the store's closure due to limited access to full-size grocery stores in the city.
The Buffalo History Museum opens a new exhibition Friday at 5:30 p.m. called GLAMerica 250, honoring America's 250th birthday through fashion. The museum says the exhibition highlights how clothing and adornment help express identity and culture across generations.
