Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - West Herr President & CEO Scott Bieler was recently honored by Daemen University, receiving the school's Presidential Medal. The medal is Daemen's highest honor, recognizing people who have improved the quality of life throughout Western New York. Just five people have been awarded the medal. Bieler is a member of Daemen's board of trustees.
Amherst Schools will host a Substitute Jobs Expo on Wednesday, July 30th from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Amherst Central High School. Positions are open at all grade levels and all buildings in the district, including certified and non-certified teachers, teaching assistants and aides, nurses and food service helpers. An application must be submitted by July 23rd.
The Buffalo Bisons are hosting Vintage Movie Night Saturday, July 19th. The team will wear jerseys based on the New York Knights from "The Natural", which was filmed in Buffalo.
