After years of planning, Buffalo's Common Council has approved contracts for the Shoshone Park fieldhouse. The fieldhouse will be 34,484 sq. ft. and feature a multi-purpose turf field, batting cages and a large community room. Groundbreaking for the fieldhouse is expected to take place this Fall.
M&T Bank and the Buffalo Bills have teamed up to provide over 800 tickets for today's Return of the Blue and Red scrimmage to families served by multiple community organizations. Those organizations include Aspire of Western New York, Delevan-Grider Community Center and Native American Community Services, among others. The partnership aims to reduce barriers for fans who wish to attend games.
National restaurant chain Dave's Hot Chicken is coming to Western New York. The restaurant will be located in Clarence at 5355 Transit Road, pending final approvals for renovations to the building.
