Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Gas prices dropped slightly again over the last week in Buffalo, down 3 cents at $4.51/gallon. Across the state, prices dropped eight cents since last Monday to $4.45/gallon. The national average remains much lower at $4.16, which is 16 cents cheaper than last week.
Buffalo Public Schools will celebrate a major step in the construction of the district's new commissary building Monday afternoon with a topping off ceremony. The commissary is located at 1016 East Delavan in Buffalo. The district says the building will improve the quality and freshness of school meals and give students more nutrition options.
Buffalo's Spotted Octopus Brewing is moving its taproom to a larger location, with a move-in date set for early August. The new space will have room for 120 guests and include a restaurant by Flow Food. Plans also call for an outdoor patio and expanded parking.
