Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Less than two years after opening at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo, Johnny D's steakhouse is closing its doors. Business First reports the hotel is already looking for a new tenant for the 9,000-square-foot space, which has also been home to a Morton's and E.B. Green's Steakhouse.

East Aurora is up for America's Favorite Small Town in Parade magazine. If East Aurora wins the contest it'll have Parade's permission to use the "Favorite Small Town" badge and signage. You can vote daily here.

BryLin Hospital's Biswarup Ghosh, M.D. has been named as Buffalo Spree's Top Doctor in Psychiatry for 2026. Ghosh was recognized for his research over the last decade-plus focusing on treatments for depression and bipolar disorder.

Trocaire College has received $425,000 from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation. The money will be used to support Catholic education throughout the region and provide students access to crisis response, grief, housing instability and mental health services.
