Sumitomo expansion rolling along

The on-going $128 million expansion for Sumitomo Rubber USA will lead to higher production output. Vice president of operations and plant manager Tim Sprunger telling Business First that this year, Sumitomo should be able to double production of passenger car tires from 6,000 tires per day to 12,000 this year. In the next two years, truck and bus tire production should swell from 1,600 tires per day to 2,300.

The Vive program of Jericho Road Community Health Center is seeking to move its shelter for asylum seekers to 1500 Main Street.  Business First notes that matter will be brought to today's Buffalo Zoning Board of Appeals meeting.
