Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Sumitomo Rubber factory in Tonawanda has shutdown most of its operations following a computer system outage that began last week, per Buffalo Business First. 1,200 hourly and 400 salaried employees work at the factory. The company sent a notice to employees saying hourly or skilled trade employees who have not been ordered to come in will be out of work until next Monday.

Southern Tier Brewing and Perry's Ice Cream are teaming up to launch a seasonal beer called Orange Twist, based on the popular Perry's flavor. The two companies collaborated once before on Souther Tier Brewing's Vanilla Scoop brew.

Nominations are open for the 2024 Business Ethics Awards. If there's a business you've interacted with that has an outstanding culture you can nominate them at www.BuffaloBusinessEthics.org. The deadline for nominations is March 29th.
