Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Lion King at Shea's wrapped up this past Sunday, drawing a massive turnout for the theatre and local economy. Shea's says the musical generated $18.79 million for the region thanks to increased spending at restaurants, hotels, shops and more. 68,348 people visited Shea's and the Theatre District during the Lion King's three-week run.

Chiavetta's might be moving into the former site of Al-E-Oops at 5389 Genesee Street in Lancaster, according to a report from Buffalo Business First. Chiavetta's recently filed plans with the town as they explore their options. Al-E-Oops closed in late November.
