The sale of the McKinley Mall has been approved by the State Supreme Court. Business First reports Kohan Retail Investment Group purchased the property for $8.5 million. The Town of Hamburg, Benderson Development and another buyer had all made objections to the sale, but those objections were denied.
Health-tech startup Centivo has chosen Buffalo as its corporate headquarters. According to Busness First, the company currently has facilities on Cayuga Drive in Cheektowaga, but plans to find space within the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus by this summer.
A UB research team has received a $1.6 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to improve medical imaging for people with chronic leg ulcers. The project is in collaboration with the surgery clinic of UBMD Physician's Group.
