The Taste of Buffalo has a new Chair for the 39th edition of the event, naming Luke Baecker, a fund administrator for Roofers Local No. 74 and 203 Benefit Funds. Becker's duties include planning the event, which is set to take place on July 9th and July 10th. Baecker has been on the Taste of Buffalo's Board of Directors since 2010.
Another big purchase for West Herr Automotive Group as the company has purchased the AAA Car Care Plus at 8120 Main St. in Williamsville. The site officially opens as West Herr Express Maintenance today and will retain its previous staff.
And a Tops store in Wrights Corners, just north of Lockport in Niagara County will have a grand re-opening next week after re-modeling. The $1.5 million dollar renovation will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting at the store located at 3949 Lockport Olcott Rd. The renovated location now has an expanded inventory, new interior and exterior décor and new LED lighting among other improvements. The Grand Re-Opening takes place next Tuesday, February 8th at 11am.
