Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A new outdoor market will celebrate its soft opening Wednesday night in downtown Buffalo. The Yard at Perry opens at 5 p.m. and goes until 11 p.m. with food vendors, artisan shops and live entertainment. It's all happening right in front of the arena. The market will run throughout the summer.
Canisius University students will be helping out at next weekend's NHL Draft at KeyBank Center by serving as NHL Ambassadors. About 20 Canisius students will be there escorting the players and their families, and helping the media with photo shoots.
Niagara County is holding an outdoor career fair from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Oppenheim Park in Wheatfield. More than 80 companies will be on hand, representing skilled trades, healthcare, manufacturing, finance and much more.
