Former Bills Running Back Thurman Thomas and wife Patti are relocating from the Town of Boston to the city of Buffalo. According to Business First, the couple paid just under $1 million for a property on Linwood Avenue.
A Cleveland auto dealer is closer to opening a Buffalo location. Business First reports the Mark Sims Dealership paid $5.48 million for the former Parker's Great British Institution property on South Park Avenue across from the Tesla plant. The plan is for a showroom, offices, and on-site parking for 354 cars. A mid-summer opening is planned.
Catholic Charities of Buffalo announcing its Appeal 2023 leadership team. Adam Sumlin, Ph.D. will serve as chair, vice chair is Kevin Gannon, Kevin Brayer and Daniel Mecca have been named as corporate division chairs, and Laurie Brown-Croyts-Alford will serve as community division chair.
Helen L. Marlette, who has served as Head of School at Buffalo Seminary for seven years, has announced she will retire in June 2024.
