Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The DKP Buffalo plant at 55 Milens Road in Tonawanda has been sold for $9.75 million. The 212,000 square-foot manufacturing facility takes up 21 acres of land. The plant specializes in aluminum and steel blanking.

Gap has closed its location at the Walden Galleria. The retailer's location at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls is its last remaining in Western New York.

SUNY Niagara has awarded its Dr. Carol Jamieson Award for excellence in mentoring to Dr. Mark Bonacci of Niagara Falls. Bonacci has been with the school since 1989 and is a professor of human services.

Gas prices in Buffalo dropped 1 cent over the last week, averaging $3.08 per gallon. The statewide average is just below $3 at $2.97.
