Tops, Sabres celebrate partnership

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Tops will celebrate their new partnership with the Sabres at Thursday's home opener beginning at 3 p.m. in Alumni Plaza. There'll be free giveaways as the players walk the Blue Carpet into the arena. Throughout the year, Tops BonusPlus members will also receive special offers for Sabres tickets.

HP Hood has canceled plans for a 32,500 sq. ft. expansion of its Batavia facility, per Buffalo Business First. The project was initially put on hold in March because the city of Batavia was in violation of its wastewater limit. The project was going to cost $120 million.

Laser Solutions Incorporated of Lockport is celebrating 35 years in business. They've been remanufacturing laser printer cartridges and offering free printer repairs for their customers since 1989. Laser Solutions is closing in on one million cartridges built.

Trocaire College has named Jason Konesco executive vice president, beginning November 11th. It's a new position at the college and was filled following a national search. Konesco will work side-by-side with school president Dr. Bassam Deeb.
