Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino have been awarded AAA's Four Diamond Award honoring the best upscale hotels. Seneca Niagara has received the award every year since 2006, while Seneca Allegany has won it every year since 2009.

National Fuel is purchasing CenterPoint Ohio's natural gas utility business for $2.6 billion, with the deal expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. National Fuel will take on CenterPoint's employees along with 5,900 miles of pipelines and 335,000 customers.

A building constructed in 1832 at 8558 North Main Street in Eden has been sold to Five Vine Connection Properties for $410,000. It's one of the oldest office buildings in the Southtowns. The plan is for the building to remain as office space.

Maine-based Milestone Funeral Services of New York has purchased three Lombrado Funeral Homes, two of them in Amherst on Main Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard, the other on Abbott in Hamburg. Milestone paid $5.9 million for the properties.
