The Athletic Department at UB has entered a partnership with INFLCR, a content and compliance software platform for athletic programs. UB AD Mark Alnutt the program this way "if they want to provide lessons for a fee, okay, have a camp somewhere in Buffalo in order for that to happen they'll go through INFLCR in terms of being able to report to us this opportunity."
The platform is designed for student-athletes, but also coaches and staff. They will also have access to photos, videos and graphics produced by UB Athetics.
Researchers at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center have collectively gathered more than $34 million in grants. Several projects will focus on new treatment options for hard-to-treat cancers. Seven teams earned grants of $2 million or more from National Institute of Health agencies.
The expansion of an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment program at Mount St. Mary's Hospital has been completed. Business First reports that 24 beds were added to its Clearview Treatment Services program, for a total of 69.
Cappellino Buick GMC President Steve Cappellino has received the 2020 Buick Dealer of the Year Award from General Motors. The honor recognizes the top 2% of dealers in the United States by region.
